VentCore – Filtration & Chamber Heating System for Snapmaker U1

The VentCore is a purpose-built filtration, heating, and cooling system designed specifically for the Snapmaker U1 and compatible printers. It keeps your ambient air clean, your print chamber warm, and your motherboard cool, controlled via Klipper, with zero permanent modifications to your machine.

Why VentCore?

• Cleaner Air: High-efficiency HEPA filtration combined with an activated charcoal chamber scrubs harmful VOCs and ultra-fine particles (UFPs) generated during printing.
• Better Prints, Less Warping: Maintains a consistent chamber temperature to drastically reduce warping and improve layer adhesion when printing engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, and Nylon.
• Longer Printer Life: A dedicated external cooling fan targets the motherboard, preventing heat creep and reducing wear on critical electronics over time (drops temperature by as much as 20 °C.
• Automated: Klipper integration activates and deactivates the system based on your nozzle temperature and filament type. Set it once and forget it.

  You can also take manual control.

• Open-Source & Customisable: Includes full STEP files and Klipper configuration macros so you can adapt, remix, and tune every part to your specific setup.
• Clean, Plug-and-Play Integration: All three modules pull control/power via the printer's existing 6-pin port (with a separate dedicated supply for the heater). No permanent wiring cuts or splices required.

System Control

• Interface: Klipper (macro available)
• Trigger: Nozzle temperature threshold (Default: 50 °C) and Filament type.
• Power (Modules 1 & 3): Powered via Snapmaker U1 6-pin port
• Power (Module 2): Powered via dedicated external supply but triggered by Klipper
